字首 com- 表示「一起；完全」，有時還可作為強調用。之後接 b、m、p 時拼成 com-，另外除了 com- (2) 提到的變形外，其他音之前大多拼成 con-。

converge v. 會合；匯集；整合
Accidents can happen easily where two roads converge.
兩條路交匯處很容易發生車禍。
